<p>If lying awake in the darkness is your main problem, turn the lamp on a get hold of the most boring book you can find. Make it informative but not in the slightest bit entertaining, this is a tip used widely by students. Once you start reading your brain shuts down.</p>
<p>Exercise is a good way of promoting a good night&#8217;s sleep. Really push yourself so both body and mind are exhausted. A good sleeping pattern should follow.</p>
<p>Resistance and cardio workouts are the best for this. Once the initial burst of energy has dissipated, your body will start and wind down until it just wants to go to sleep.</p>

<p>Even though I had heard it all before I had to be supportive so went round to their house and removed all the candies, cookies etc. I couldn&#8217;t believe how much there was? I threw a lot away but took quite a bit to my house, as I am underweight.</p>
<p>I felt that they needed to discuss what foods they would have in the house so neither felt like they were missing out. My boyfriend was as laid back as ever and said he would have anything, his very picky mother was very agreeable when I suggested fruit!</p>
<p>Fruit tastes great and is so good for you. Junk food is convenient and readily available and even at work there are vending machines full of the stuff. Well keep your money in your purse and take a banana or apple with you for those snacks.</p>
<p>Keeping fruit in view is a great way to remind yourself to eat plenty and not leave the house without a piece or two. Near the door is perfect.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s always a worry that food might spoil before you get it eaten. There are two things you can do here; either buy it in smaller quantities or do what I do, always keep in frozen fruit juice and dried and frozen fruits.</p>
<p>So if you want to look and feel great, do as my boyfriend and his mom have done, replace the cupboards full of candy with bowls of fruit.</p>
<p>Ditching your candy for fruit will be tough at first, but you&#8217;ll get there. It&#8217;s just like breaking any bad habit, except this one will have a great effect on your health.</p>

A vacation is supposed to be a time away from the responsibilities of life. We think of spiritual travel as something we should do because it is good for us. With this idea as a back drop, of course we will think that this kind of travel is not fun. When we vacation, we wish to leave behind this kind of responsibility. What would happen if we didn&#8217;t think like this?</p>
<p>My experience is that spiritual gay travel is a joy. You meet people with the same mindset and really can connect with them. This level of connection really adds to the enjoyment of being on vacation. The chance to have an honest, heart to heart conversation with someone brings adds tremendously to my vacation experience and I come to value these conversations very much.</p>
<p>Also, we have learned being &#8220;spiritual&#8221; requires acting seriously or even solemn. We seem to think that laughter is the antithesis of being spiritual. This couldn&#8217;t be further from the truth. We connect more deeply to spirit when we laugh. After all, it is said that laughter is the best medicine.</p>
<p>When we are spiritually connected to the world around us, when we are conscious of our surroundings, our entire gay vacation experience is heightened. This heightened sense of awareness allows us to relax more, play more and get the most out of our vacation. Getting more out of our time away is very important.</p>
<p>Little children are a wonderful example of this. They are enthralled with the world around them; everything is new, everything is a wonder. Discovering and learning new things is not &#8220;work&#8221; to a child. They find joy in all that they encounter; everything is a new toy to play with.</p>
<p>And last, but certainly not least, sometimes people confuse the experience of being awestruck as being serious or solemn. When you travel with conscious awareness there can be times when you will be &#8220;deeply moved&#8221; (awestruck) by something you encounter. It could be the hospitality of a family you meet; a genuine smile; the grandeur of a sunrise or simply the revelation that you are blessed to be alive. Personally, even after countless visits to Monument Valley, I am still moved tears while I am there. But these are tears of joy, humility and gratitude.</p>

<p>The best way to remain as healthy as you can is to watch what you eat and drink and to also make sure that you try to get as much physical exercise for your body that you can. Following these two things will help to increase your life expectancy to its fullest and to hopefully avoid any future problems that can and sometimes are self inflicted. </p>
<p>The more you spend your life eating unhealthy and not exercising the more problems that could arise from not giving your body the proper and necessary things it needs to continue without complications. Most of the physical problems or diseases we can run into in life can actually be avoided or lessened to various extents. </p>
<p>Another issue that is important in this conversation is the area of mental health. Physical and mental health goes hand in hand. If at any point in your life you feel like you may have issues that you feel you need to talk to someone about that by no means is seeking counseling wrong. In fact it is highly encouraged and you never know what they may be able to help you with.</p>
<p>For these reasons it is important to stay healthy. If you want to live a longer life and a good one at that then remember to avoid doing bad things to your body.</p>
